Bahnschrift is a brand new digitization of the famous DIN 1451 character design standard and was released as a variable font for Windows in 2017. DIN 1451 is a standardization for letterforms designs created by the German standards body Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization) in 1931, and was intended for use on road signs and other technical implementations.

I am using PowerPoint in Office 365 and I created a PPT using the font Bahnschrift SemiBold Condensed. This font was provided as a part of PPT when I downloaded Office. I wanted to share the PPT with someone via email, but when I do, I lose the font. I have already tried to: - Print as PDF (changes font) - Save as PDF (changes font)

Anything else and it will not have the proper weights (Bahnschrift Light and Bahnschrift Semi-Bold looks like standard Bahnschrift; and the condensed fonts are all but illegible). The same happens if you create a pdf (unless you use the cumbersome and inferior "MS print to PDF" option). It is a beautiful font.

We use the Bahnschrift font family quite a bit (specifically Bahnschrift SemiBold Condensed), however when saved as a PDF, either saving it as a PDF or using the print to PDF option, the font changes. I have attempted to embed the font in PowerPoints but it never saves as a PDF properly.

About the font. The Bahnschrift font is a Sans Serif typeface. It is a compatible font across devices. Microsoft developed the font and included it in Windows 10 (Fall Creators Update, Build 16273) in fall 2017.
