I got curious about Eras after reading this. I use the Adobe suite at work and couldn't locate the font. A search on Google found this: "As I recall, Eras is a very old PostScript Type 1 (dating from the late 1980s or early 1990s) which had problems in the way it was constructed.

And to make up a simple decal like "SAHARA" or "JEEPZEN" won't cost much if you go in knowing what font, size, length, and have an idea of the color decal you want. IMO, $20 USD (see link above) for some very simple "RUBICON" (or whatever) decals is way too much. A local sign maker here in Truro (Canada) probably won't charge more than $10-15 ...

There is a standard font that Jeep modified. My paint guy used the standard and I think it looked a little better. It looks like its in bold font. The Rubicon is painted on in this pic: Original Sticker in this:
