Whyte made a few public appearances in small-scale cultural publications and aged so gracefully that we felt it was time to give the existing shapes another push. Dinamo designer Erkin set out to refine and extend the initial version of Whyte and returned with two related-yet-visually-different font families: Whyte and Whyte Inktrap.

The typeface is available in two variations, Whyte and Whyte Inktrap (shown in the specimen), which features deep ink traps in the joints of letters. Both variations come in ten weights with matching italics. A variable font version is currently in the works, which consolidates the two versions of Whyte into a single font. Get Whyte →
